Smile a little bit
Smile a little bit, Smile a little bit, Smile a little bit more
Cause you don’t mind to talk about your find
Your words are all I need to get by
You gave me the answer to all my questions
And you bid me farewell at the journeys end
And you made a place for me to ride along
To know what you have found
Let me see your faces
Watch your eyes so I can follow
I cry your name out loud to hear
the songs of god so strong and clear
And in my eyes and ears I feel the pouring rain
Washing away my fear
That holds me from the pain
I see a flash of lightening
The storm is on its way
Thundering through my dreams
I feel the river calling me
Calling me, Calling me to be like the river
Inside of me, flowing free
Timeless it sounds the voices of laughter
As it flows on down to the ocean in your mind
Cause all you do is smile
That’s what you came here for
So smile a little bit more
That’s what you came here for

Neptune in the 7th house
Sometimes I wish I had the wings to fly away
I’d flow through you and me and back again someday
I’ve landed on a star so bright and clear you see
Where all my thoughts entwine with you internally
There ain’t no way in turning back
My love for you will forever last
Your love for me is all I need
I’ve come to know the pleasure the pain
I’ve touched the sky and enveloped the air
Been so far that I can remain
In the wonder that takes me there
In the wonder that takes me there
I’ve seen a lot of wonderers, making their own time
Drifting with the wind they were to try to find
The love where they came from
I know the way we live, the way we need to be
I know our love is deep
And I know that I long to be with you again
To be with you again (repeat several times)

Why was I born
Why was I born
Why am I here
This planet is oh so strange
There’s so many people who are deranged
Why was I born
Why am I here
This world is so black and white
There’s so many people afraid of the light
Why was I born
Why am I here
Why do I sing
I sing to remind me why
I was born here!
My teacher said to stop my thoughts
That’s easier said than done
If I focus on what’s beyond
The clear light will forever come, will forever come!
Why was I born
Why am I here
Those questions lead me to pain
If only that silent moment remained
Repeat 3rd verse

The River Koan
Imagine that the bridge is flowing
But the river is not
Imagine that you’re swimming on the shore
And walking on the water
Imagine that the moon is flowing
With the blood of our mothers
Imagine that it waxes to and fro
Giving Life, Love and Laughter
1st bridge
All rivers flow to the ocean
And circles us as one
And she washes
Us with mercy
Forever, she washes us forever
Imagine that the bridge is flowing
But the river is not
Imagine that you’re swimming on the shore
And walking on the water
And walking on the water
Walking on water
2nd bridge
It’s time to let go
To fears and thoughts that are not your own
Come down to the river
Come down to the river
And wash those thoughts away
And wash those fears away
Imagine that the moon is flowing
With the blood of our mothers
Imagine that it waxes to and fro
Giving Life, Love and Laughter
Giving Life, Love and Laughter
Life, Love and Laughter

13 Grandmothers
Two Thousand and twelve is coming soon
Can we connect with the sacred moon?
13 eagle feathers and 13 stones
told the prophecy of grandmothers taking their home
to the world, giving voice
to the voiceless from times before
we were born
Two Thousand and twelve is coming soon
Can we rise up and sing in tune?
Grandmothers say, we’re all Blood, Bones and Breath
And love expands and frees us from the past
Can we see? Can we be?
Like the face we were before
We were born
New times are coming soon
New times are coming soon
Cause 13 grandmothers are out there speaking their truth
Calling on spirit world and praying for peace and you
They can see the ancient ways
And they can heal the earth today
And give us hope… that
New times are coming soon
New times are coming soon
(repeat twice)

Pining For Your Love
I’m pining for your love
I’m pining for your love
Woke up from this dream
Where I was flying so high above
Woke up from this dream
That had a weird dramatic theme
Chorus
Why do I listen, why do I listen…. to illusion, to desire
To the maya in my mind, that’s like a red hot fire.
I’m pining for your love
I’m pining for your love
Woke up from this dream
Where I walking the streets forever
Woke up from this dream
Where I was yearning to stride together
Chorus
I’m pining for your love
I’m pining for your love
Woke up from this dream
With a 100, 000 schemes
Woke up from this dream
And things ain’t what they seem
Chorus
I’m pining for your love (repeat and fade)

Shaman’s Song
Shaman my friend, my reflection
She senses on four legs what I cannot
She finds reasons to love
She finds reasons to love, in the greatest way.
And her knowing is simple and deep
And her knowing is simple and deep
She has no conditions save for me
Her heart is pure and her mind is clean
Oh I wish I could sow
Oh I wish I could sow what she reaps
What if more two leggeds were like her?
Think of what the world could be.
What if more two leggeds were like my four legged friend
The world would be better in the end
Yes the world would be better in the end.
Lead part, repeat verse
Shaman my friend, my reflection
She senses on four legs what I cannot
She finds reasons to love
She finds reasons to love, in the greatest way.
In the greatest way.
Shaman, my friend.

Saint Frances
Partial capo on the 2nd fret
Now I know what it feels to be like Saint Frances
Sitting in a garden like a statue
A sparrow landed on my head
Its wings gently brushed my shoulder
And I become alive like a bird
And I become alive like a bird
And I am one, no less no greater than then bird.
Now I know what it feels to be like Saint Frances
Walking in the forest by the river
Sister tree is inside of me
Brother squirrel telling his story
And I become the singer of all
Creatures great and small
And I am one, no less no greater than then tree.
Now I know what it feels to be like Saint Frances
Climbing the mountain by the full moon
Every rock and stone are sacred
They speak to me of patience
And I stand humbly before them
And I stand humbly before them

Don’t Look Back
Chorus
Don’t look back
Don’t look forward
Now is all that matter
Don’t look back
And don’t look forward
Now is all that matters
Today I had a revelation that I have come thus far
And it is OK not to know
Where I am going
Because I live day to day, I live day to day
Bridge
This moment is all I have
To show you your perfect past
And your future is an open page
But let, let the mystery last
Oh yes, let the mystery last
Chorus
I had a dream last night I was floating
Above the stars in the sky
How can I know what is real
If I only live for tomorrow?

Shed a Tear Like the Rain
Shed a tear for your loved one
Shed a tear for the pain
Shed a tear for the loss that you feel
Shed a tear like the rain
That comes down, oh it comes down
To sooth the soul and almost fills the hole.
Say a prayer for your loved one
Say a prayer to honor their name
Say a prayer for the time that you shared
Say a prayer with the rain
That comes down, oh it comes down
To sooth the soul and almost makes us whole.
Come to me tonight
And be in my dreams
So we can be together again
Come and say goodnight
And tuck me in real tight
So we can feel the strength again
For I know, that it takes time
To let you go
But I hope to see you again.
Repeat Shed a tear verse
It’s a very deep hole
So let it rain, let it rain, let it rain, let it rain…..

The Road
I walk along the road to find the sun on the ground
I take my time and throw it in the air
And spin the world around
I keep my pace at a steady beat to stay
Between where lake and heaven meet
And I know that the way is on the wind
Without beginning or end
Come and walk along the road with me
Times are harder cause they won’t let you be
It means you gotta be stronger
For the battle is longer
Than you can imagine
I walk along the road to find the rain clouds in my mind
I give myself to the sky and wonder why
I see my face again
Need to find a place to wash away the past
That came from yesterday
For I know that the way is on the wind
Without beginning or end
All the things you do to carry on
Pulls you farther from where you belong
All you need to do is look inside
And see that something is missing
Why don’t you come and walk along the road
And see for yourself that the way is the road
And it’s in your mind
As the wind, as the wind blows by.
I walk along the road to find a man standing there
He turns around and takes a bow and then
He lands upon the air
He says I know you’ve come this way before
I can help you through the door
Cause I am the way and I understand
That you come from another land
Come and walk along the road with me
Times are header cause they won’t let you be
It means you gotta be stronger
So you can cross over
And cycle no longer!

Turtle Rising
Chorus
Turtle rising
Make her your own
Turtle rising
Listen to her earth song
Turtle rising
So wise, so calm, so strong
So wise, so calm, so strong
She soars through the ocean
and lands to give birth
slowly she moves to connect
for the way to heaven is through the earth
the way to heaven is through the earth
Bridge
She bears the world upon her back
Honor her ancient memory
Slow and steady she wins the race
For Mother Earth, Gaia we give birth
Gaia we give birth
We are born from the water
And to the soil we will return
We seek guidance and protection
In our finite endless sojourn
In our finite endless sojourn
Repeat chorus

Come Walk Closely
Intro
When we listen to Mother Nature
We feel who we are
We are one with this living planet
And yes, we can see that far (go that far, walk that far)
Chorus
Come, come walk closely
Come see who you really are
Walk with your eyes wide open
Tread lightly on the ground
Listen to the sounds around you
And hear the call
I don’t know how we got to this place
Of such disconnection
Need to get back to the native land
And hear the wisdom of the Elders
Chorus
The Four–leggeds understand the way
Of how the circle grows
If we follow their give and take
The sacred path is ours to know.
